SEYMOUR LOFTS - ADAPTIVE REUSE

This project sought to repurpose a under-utilized, substantial secondary school building and to re-integrate it with the community. The main classroom spaces are being converted into small loft style apartments aimed at the affordable housing market, while the auditorium and gymnasium spaces will remain as community amenities. The site is situated between residential properties and City parklands, with a community centre and pool adjacent, so is naturally connected to these community uses.
